- Taking the homeowner’s personality out of the home to appeal to as many people as possible, so a potential buyer can envision themselves living in the home.
- Showing off the size and architectural aspects of the property well, while making the aesthetics as pleasing as possible.

Timing - A popular television network says that staged homes sell 30% quicker than those not staged. According to the Association of Staging Professionals, homes that are not staged spend an average of 175 days on the market, while homes that are staged sell in 35 days on average (www.stagedhomes.com).
Important - If the home is not priced properly, staging doesn’t matter. It’s just one part of the offering.
Cost - Many stagers charge $265 for an initial consultation and a fee per room, depending on the square footage of the home.
